Hello! Welcome to life.like.documented. I hope this space inspires you to document your own creative journey, as I continue to explore mine. I’ve always been interested in documenting the everyday, since starting a journal during childhood. My daily documenting has continued on, all the way to my adult years. There are many different ways to share stories and I enjoy sharing mine through writing, photography, design, styling, crafting and gardening.
Every story is unique and your story matters
I would describe myself as a bit of a mixed bag with experience in many different creative areas and a comprehensive knowledge of working with various mediums and processes in print media, digital content creation and social media managing.
With over 7+ years’ experience working in print and digital media I have worked at leading publications such as; Cosmopolitan Bride & Pregnancy Magazines, Mother & Baby, CHILD Magazines as well as had work published in various Australian and international magazines, digital platforms and books; The Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, Girlfriend, Girlpower, Collective Hub, Home & Décor, JBHIFI Stack, Lifestyle You, Nickelodeon, Channel [V], Bespoke, child mags blog, Snail Mail and Care Packages (Hardie Grant Books).
As well as writing content I have styled and photographed product shoots for publications, digital outlets and Aussie brands.
I also enjoy design and have designed components for digital websites, blogs, print, magazines and stationery products.
I’m passionate about creating quality content and publications, overseeing and managing tasks from A to B with an Editor’s eye.
I can work quickly with imagery either photographing content or sourcing and editing imagery for digital and print publication. I have been working as a digital content creator for the past three years as well as managing newsletters, social media accounts and coming up with social media campaigns that have helped grow a significant amount of followers over short periods of time.
With an interest in independent media, I’m the author of four zines (mini magazines) titled; Happy Mail Day, Japan in a Collection, My Life in Biscuits and Little Book of MT Masking Tape. I would also love to have a book published one day.
It’s important to me to participate and get among our local creative communities and events, so I’m thankful for having had the opportunity to feature my work in the MCA Zine Fair, The Sydney Quilt & Craft Fair, Sydney Writer’s Festival and The Rocks Pop-Up Project.
My interests include; documenting, snail mail, illustration, writing, journaling, photography, floristry, gardening, crafting, papercraft, design, op shopping, Quokkas, cosy mystery shows and movies, childhood nostalgia, reading and enjoying a cup of tea with a quality tea dipping biscuit.
